Here at Rohnert Park-Cotati Educators Association, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for our students, educators, and community. Founded in 1963, Rohnert Park Cotati Educators Association includes teachers, librarians, nurses, speech & language pathologists, and counselors. Rohnert Park Cotati Educators Association represents over 320 educators working for CRPUSD.
RPCEA empowers, celebrates, and advocates for educators. As a collective, cohesive unit, we work together to ensure the health and safety of all staff and students. We will continue to organize for fair wages and working conditions, and negotiate for the common good.
RPCEA is Affiliated with the California Teachers Association (CTA) and the National Education Association (NEA).
A union's power is built on the participation of its members. There are so many ways to build our collective strength. Read on to learn more.
The first step to maximizing your union's leverage is to make sure that you are a member. As a member, you will have a seat at the table where decisions are made, your rights as an educator will be championed, and you can count on unwavering support when you need it most.
Here are just some of the valuable benefits of becoming a member:
For more details, you can explore the wealth of information available on the California Teachers Association (CTA) website. You can also review the member benefits brochure and a summary of benefits for additional insights.
Annual dues for full-time employees are $1,271, covering membership in RPCEA, CTA, and the National Educators Association (NEA). This investment supports not only your professional growth but also the collective strength of our teaching community.
You will receive regular information as well as opinion polls and ballots about RPCEA's work through the personal email address listed on your CTA membership. Check your email regularly and add RPCEA's email addresses to your contacts so that communications don't get spam filtered. Your vote matters!
Check the calendar for upcoming RPCEA fellowship events. We host beginning and end of year socials as well as smaller events throughout the school year.
